DOGGY, DOGGY, WHERE'S YOUR BONE?
Have children sit in a circle formation.
Then place a chair in the center of the circle.
Place a block (or bleached out real bone!) under the
chair. Select one child to be the dog.
They sit in the chair and close their eyes.Point to another child who must sneak up quietly and takes
the bone. Then all the children say together:
"Doggy, Doggy, Where's Your Bone?"
Each child gets three quesses.NOTE! You can use this game to help teach
whatever you are working on at the time.
Examples:
Shapes- Cut different shapes out of an old box
and place under the chair.
Colors: Use crayons or shapes cut out of construction paper.
Numbers: Use plasic magnetic numbers or cut some out.
Food items: Pictures of foods.
Toy pictures.
Vehicles: Trucks, cars, tractors, emergency vehicles, etc...
