Mother Cat & Baby Kittens
Choose one child to be the mother cat who goes to sleep
in the middle of the circle covering their eyes.
Next pick several children to be the kittens. The following verse
is chanted as the kittens go
and hide somewhere in the room. Mother wakes up at the
end of the verse to find her kittens.
Mother cat lies fast asleep.
To her side the kittens creep.
But the kittens like to play.
Softly now they creep away.
Mother cat wakes up to see.
No little kittens! Where can they be?
