President Kim Il Sung’s exploits of nation-building will shine for all ages!

September 9 is the founding day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.Significantly celebrating this day the vanguard fighters and the broad segments of the patriotic people in south Korea extend the highest respect to great President Kim Il Sung, the eternal sun of Juche and the founding father of socialist Korea, with the boundless reverence and extol his exploits of nation-building.

The foundation of the DPRK on September 9, 1948 is the brilliant realization of the President’s idea and line of government building and a landmark event signaling the advent of a genuine people-centered government ever-first in history.

The President built the democratic sovereign state in the northern half of liberated Korea on the basis of the precious tradition of building a people's government he created during the flames of the anti-Japanese struggle.

He resolutely beat back the armed invasion of the US imperialists against the young DPRK thus he defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country, built a powerful nation dignified with independence, self-supporting in economy and self-defense creating a world paradigm in building a genuine socialist nation.

Under the illustrious leadership of the President the DPRK could be strengthened and developed into a genuine government of people that always places the people's interests in the forefront and strives for the implementation of them, and was changed into the socialist country of Juche enjoying the absolute support and trust of the people.

The valuable exploits of President Kim Il Sung who devoted his all to the sacred cause of founding and developing the DPRK and provided the ever-lasting cornerstone for the eternal prosperity of the country and nation and the ultimate victory of the Juche cause, will shine for all ages.

Therefore the minds of the south Korean people are leaning to the north on this auspicious day.

The south Korean people spare no praise saying “the people-centered north Korean society which President Kim Il Sung built after liberating the country is a people's paradise admired by all people as a beacon of hope and sheds its rays throughout the world. The high honor and dignity of the DPRK, the happy and worthwhile life which the people enjoy is all ascribed to the wise leadership and great efforts of President Kim Il Sung, father of the nation-building and socialist Korea.”

They are extolling the President’s exploits of nation-building saying “the foundation of the DPRK was a present that President Kim Il Sung bestowed upon us after the 20-year-long anti-Japanese war. Let’s remember the President, father of the nation-building forever.” and “President Kim Il Sung who led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory is a legendary hero and a national hero for all ages. His great exploits of nation-building will be praised forever generation to generation.”

Indeed, the DPRK is not a republic only for the north Koreans, but the republic of our nation associated with the patriotic spirit of the south Korean people, too.

Let us terminate the history of the US military occupation over south Korea

The US imperialists who ran amuck to realize their wild ambition for aggression of Korea since long occupied south Korea on September 8, 1945 as a “liberator” on the pretext of disarming the Japanese militarists.

From that day 62 years ago, the disgraceful history of US occupation over south Korea began and the Korean nation has undergone the calamity of national division.

Since then the US troops are aggressors and occupants from the outset.

The 62-year long history of US occupation over south Korea was a blood-stained history brimful with inhumane crimes and massacre against the south Korean people.

The GIs, ringleader of aggression and killing, indiscriminately shot, stabbed, burnt and dismembered the people to death everywhere in south Korea.

But for the US occupation of south Korea, there were no national division nor the killing of millions of Koreans.

But for the US occupation there could be no concept of the north and the south, no antagonism nor enmity nor confrontation between the compatriots and no wretched war such as the June 25 war of 1950.

The US troops are still occupying the south and holding sway as the master and continuing aggression, interference and division with blood-shot eyes even today when the June 15 era of independent reunification is opened up and the process of reconciliation, cooperation and reunification between the south and north is progressing apace.

This year, too, the US spread insecurity over the Korean Peninsula through the deceptive farce of “relocation of the US troops in south Korea”, wrecking peace by staging incessant war drills and hamstringing the inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation.

As far as the US troops remain in south Korea no independence, peace, reunification nor prosperity of the country can be achieved.

The US is the chieftain of Korea’s division and the major stumbling block to Korea’s reunification and the root cause of all the misfortune and pains of the south Korean people.

The AINDF fighters and the patriotic people from different social standings in south Korea will conduct more vigorously the anti-US struggle on a wider scale bearing in their mind the grudge and rancor toward the US beasts to terminate the colonial rule of the US imperialists and realize the historic cause of national reunification without fail.

Today the progressive organizations and the peace-loving people of the world, who set store by the justice, truth, peace and security, are bitterly denouncing all the crimes the US has perpetrated over half a century and extending firmer solidarity and support to our people's righteous struggle to put an end to the US occupation of south Korea.
