Large-scale anti-regime struggles were staged across south Korea on June 10 marking the 22^nd anniversary of the June Popular Uprising with attendance of over 300,000 members of civic organizations, opposition parties, workers, farmers, women, intellectuals and media persons.

In Seoul, some 150,000 people from various strata held the All-people Rally for Inheriting the June Uprising and Restoring Democracy.

The participants claimed that the history runs counterclockwise in south Korea and called upon all the people to turn out in the 2^nd June uprising to root out the dictatorial regime.

The “4-point request for the restoration of democracy” was made public there urging the stop of suppressive misrule, pro-conglomerate policy and the proceeding with evil laws against democracy, people's living and human rights.

And a resolution was read out at the rally.

It stressed that all the progressive camps would stage solidarized struggle for democracy, people's livelihood and peace against the fascist dictatorial regime which is undermining democracy, and declared that they would, to begin with, conduct all-people signature campaign till July 11 for realizing the above-said 4-point request.

With the rally finished, the participants staged a demo chanting such slogans as “Down with dictatorship!” and “Oust Lee Myung-bak!”.

They intensified the anti-regime struggle undaunted by indiscriminate suppression of the fascist riot police.

Anti-regime struggles were also fiercely staged in other big cities including Busan, Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, so thus appalled the Lee group.

 

 

 

War Moves against the North Get More Frenzied

 

More recently the Lee Myung-bak group of traitors is intensifying the anti-north war moves by building up the latest war equipment finding fault with the DPRK’s self-defensive nuclear test.

It managed to get the sales approval for Laser-guided bombers called “GBU-28” from the US on June 2, and plans to deploy them in south Korea during the “term of 2010-2014 defense mid-term project”.

The group of traitors is scheming to deploy the unmanned spy aircrafts “Global Hawk”, and purchase 20 more “F-15K” fighter planes from the US from the next year after having committed 40 above-said fighters to active service.

It tries to carry in the early warning radar system, “SM-6” interceptor missiles and Patriot missiles, air-to-ground guided missiles for distant precision strike and Joint Direct Attack Munitions controlled by “GPS” from the US since this year.

Besides, it steps up the development of cruise missiles of maximum range of 1,500Km to be carried on submarines by its own, builds guided-missile-loaded high-speed warships of 440 ton-class allegedly to provide against military skirmish on seas and deploys them on the “north limit line” areas in the West Sea, and plots to further increase the number of submarines.

Meantime, the Lee Myung-bak group of traitors runs frantic in confrontational rackets against the north at home and abroad.

Traitor Lee dropped in at the “Air Force Operation Command” in Osan on last June 6 to inspect the “posture of military readiness” of the puppet army, and invited the brass hats of the US army of occupation of south Korea with their wives to Cheongwadae on June 8 to bluster of “consolidated cooperation between south Korea and the US”.

Military heavyweights including the chief of staffs of the puppet ground army inspected the forefront units to fan up the war fever.

Meanwhile, minister of foreign affairs and trade Ryu Myung-huan begged the US commitment of “provision of extended nuclear deterrent” to south Korea in formal document when he met with US secretary of State Hillary in Washington on June 5.

Minister of defense Lee Sang-hui, too, hatched evil schemes to stifle the fellow countrymen by all means with the help of the US master when talking to US secretary of defense days ago.

As far as the pro-US sycophant traitors and confrontational maniacs hell-bent to push at any cost the inter-Korean relations to the phase of nuclear war in conspiracy with the aggressive foreign forces are remained as they are, there is no guarantee for firm peace and security in the Korean Peninsula, nor improvement of inter-Korean relations, nor reunification of the country.

The end of the dictators who run counter to the people's mindset and the stream of the times has been miserable all the time.

The AINDF and the south Korean people will deal a merciless sledgehammer without fail at the Lee Myuong-bak dictatorial regime which inflicts only misfortune, pains, disgrace and death upon the people, through the vigorous storm of the 2^nd June uprising.
