Comrade Fidel Castro Ruz in the message said that he retrospects Comrade Kim Il Sung, a staunch revolutionary, outstanding leader and great man known to the world who had devoted his all to the liberation of the country, human progress and the peace and welfare of the world people till the last moments of his life since he embarked on the road of revolution in his early years. Norodom Sihanouk,leader of Cambodia said in his speech that he would like to pay most respectful tribute to President Kim Il Sung, the father of the revolution, the heroic father who achieved Korea's liberation and the father of the creation who succeeded in the development of all fields and the building up of strong national defence capability 100 percent. he also referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung rendered sincere assistance to the just cause of Cambodia with immensely broad magnanimity.

Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, said that President Kim Il Sung was a great thinker who indicated the road ahead of humankind with an outstanding idea and a seasoned politician in the 20th century who realized the centuries-old desire of the Korean people to live in a new world free from exploitation and oppression.
