Ryan enjoys drinks and chess in 7 forward. He also enjoys exploring his geeky side by reading all the latest medical journals that his brother sends him.

Born on August 12, 2351, in San Francisco, California. Shortly afterwards he and his mother moved to Canton, Ohio to get away from big city life and his father who was currently serving at Starfleet HQ. (They divorced.) When he became 12, he told his mother that he wanted to join Starfleet. She was not happy. Beverly Dragomire wanted her son to grow up and be a doctor or something like that in a small town. She disapproved of him running around the galaxy like his father, then, Captain Jacob Dragomire of the USS Nimrook, Nebula Class NCC-23509.

Ryan did not obey her. Part of the custody agreement was that Ryan could choose his parent to live with. He decided when he was 14 to join his dad on the Nimrook. His mom was upset but she knew she couldn't stop him.

On the Nimrook, Ryan learned the workings of a starship. He mainly hung around in sickbay because he was fascinated with the medical technology. Upon his 18th Birthday, he officially enrolled into Starfleet Academy. As Part of the medical program he learned to treat everything he could. He pushed himself to the limits to excel.

As a result, He graduated 11th in his class. As a Medical officer his mother was very proud on graduation day. But Ryan was not, He had learned a few days earlier, that while on their way back to earth, The Nimrook was attacked and destroyed by a Romulan Warbird. Ryan holds no grudges against them, but dislikes them a great deal.

Ryan was recruited to the USS Kieso, Intrepid Class NCC-14396. There as the Asst. Medical Officer he continued his training. He was eventually promoted to Chief upon the untimely death of the current CMO.

The CMO position led to Executive Officer on board. At the age of 26, He was almost to the top of the average chain of command.

When he was 27, Ryan was given his own command, The USS Stryker, Sovereign Class NCC-35071. As the Commanding Officer of the Stryker, Ryan led many battles against the remaining dominion forces.

Upon the defeat of the Dominion, in the Alpha Quadrant, The Stryker was badly in need of dry-dock time. Ryan figured almost a year would be needed before it could go back out.

Now in command of a brand new Prometheus class vessel, Ryan has begun his quest to lead the USS Dragon, and her crew, to be the best.
