Born into a unique cultural mix of Risan, Vulcan, and Klingon Culture. She was always able to compensate for new cultural environments. Thriving in almost any environment she entered she managed to race through school like it was all there was to life.

Lena being the Oldest of 3 was the first to do anything, being raised by inexperienced parents, she was often allowed to harass her little sister and brother quite often. She eventually entered High School and then quickly moved right into Starfleet Academy.

Being interested in weapons she began with a few extra training courses to begin her education. She soon found out the challenges of medical science and was now in a world that challenged her vast intellect. However in the middle of her Academy days she began to notice she had no real childhood memories. She began to learn the procedures for Tattooing, and body piercing. She found out quickly that she was not going to pierce herself all the time and stopped after her first belly button piercing, she then moved on to doing piercing for fellow crewmembers and eventually learned the art of tattooing. One of her previous commanding officers actually has the IDF symbol in the center of his back.

She graduated top of her class, and made her way through Starfleet, doing exceedingly well. She went through a few assignments with little no problems and eventually transferred to the USS Dragon.
