Prom 2000
"From This Moment..."

Our prom was April 29 at the Weaver Ridge Country Club. Dinner was included with the ticket price. So we are basically locked in the country club from about 7 to about 11. The food is pretty bad over there, but for some reason our school keeps going back there. I got my prom dress up in Chicago at Saks Fifth Avenue at the Oakbrook Mall.

Right after Dustin picked me up, we went down to Grandview Dr. that overlooks the Illinois River and is where many many rich people live in big big houses. We went there to take tons of pictures.

The actual prom wasn't that bad. It was shorter than last year (we were locked in for an extra hour last year, I think) and the food was a tad better than last year. The dj, on the other hand, was pretty bad and only seemed to be able to play songs from the 80's. Except for the Thong Song, of course which was played twice due to popular demand.








After prom, Dustin and I went to each other's houses to change before going off to Ian's house. There we watched the movie Orgasmo which can only be described as "interesting." After the movie, Dustin and I were pretty tired and went to bed. The next day, after breakfast at Ian's, we left to go return his tux, eat at Jimmy John's and rent a movie at my house.
