Sydney Harbour Bridge

Completed in 1932, this bridge remains an engineering feat even today. At 1,650 feet, the bridge is the city's most-revered landmark after the Sydney Opera House. Affectionately called "The Coat Hanger," the bridge contains 8 vehicle lanes, 2 railroad tracks, a cycleway and a walkway. The southeast column of the bridge contains a museum that documents the bridge's construction; walk 200 steps up the Pylon Tower for a magnificent view of the harbour and cityscape beyond.

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House first opened it's doors on October 20 1973.

A cultural and architectural masterpiece, Sydney's top tourist attraction is home to some of the world's most celebrated performing arts companies.

The zoo is situated on elevated land along the waterfront, in one of the most beautiful vantage points on Sydney Harbour. As you zigzag your way up along the paths among the animal enclosures, you are able to enjoy magnificent harbour views. Although you can drive to Taronga Park, most visitors prefer to go there by ferry - a 12-minute ferry ride from Wharf 2, Circular Quay. The zoo has its own jetty and you are able step off the boat and walk directly into the zoo.

There is a guided tour which gives an insight into the function of the tower, and high powered telescopes which allow you to home in on key sites and points of interest.

You will find inside the building, eateries, cafes, souvenir shops plus other retail shops. You can also have dinner or lunch with the most spectacular view of Sydney for a reasonable fee.
