Topic: Venezuela - Guyana:  War Elections & Election Wars
  (Revised, Edited Version)

27th July, 2000

You have just entered room "panta98 Chat43."
frogmobile has entered the room.
frogmobile:  Hi guy!
frogmobile Hello Fatboy
frogmobile: Where are you and what are you doing?
frogmobile: Share me some of your thoughts
frogmobile: Talk to me about life, man.
panta98: Hi, Prince Charming!
panta98:Why so late? Did the "chicas" keep you so very busy?
frogmobile:No hay chicas man!
frogmobile:I went to buy grapes and apples also soya milk and was delayed
panta98:The whole world is globalized by them. Do you need my glasses?
frogmobile:I see through your glasses never mind the difficulties
frogmobile:Tell me something nice man!

THE MINI-CHAT COMMENCES

panta98:How's Guyana? Beal? Chavez want's to sell land in the Essequibo too, to foreign companions. An excellent idea!
panta98:Boy, start training, we're going to war soon.
panta98:This he said yesterday, closing his election campaign.
frogmobile:Chavez is isolating himself externally which is good for Guyana's case. We love him man!
frogmobile:Castro will reign him in soon, on "our" behalf - hopefully
panta98:Be careful, the military is eager, and hot on invading Guyana; Chavez urgently needs a "scape goat" for the coming socio-economic crisis here.
panta98:And his "pueblo" is crazy about the "Esequibo, Lo Nuestro".
frogmobile:The more division he creates internally in Venezuela is good for Guyana. I don't think he will want to risk foreign isolation
panta98:With that he'll even mobilize here the staunchest Adecos and Copeianos!
panta98:It all depends what Big Brother has in mind.
frogmobile:for the first 6 months of this year, Venezuela lost about 3 billion dollars in foreign investments.
frogmobile:and he risks loosing more
panta98:Our Big Brother might even like the idea, to set foot here, and in Colombia, sending the UN Peace Corps!
frogmobile:there could be a currency problem soon there
panta98:They gained billions more, due to the extremely high oil prices.
frogmobile:Yes! Chavez will say anything to get publicity and attention
frogmobile:all the money gained is already lost
panta98:I want news, this is, was and will be a permanent problem. The elections themselves, and
keeping the bolivar stable, cost him billions.
frogmobile:yes! it will be
frogmobile:I heard there were attempts to kill him
frogmobile:the army is not that happy with him
panta98:Chavez, everybody got used to it. Who is worried that the $ = Bs. 685. I'm getting poorer everyday!
frogmobile:Colombia is now being armed to the teeth by the U.S
frogmobile:Is Chavez ready for them - I don't think so
panta98:That he sent them to work, to do social work, these lazy buggers, good for them, then they can participate less in drug-dealing.
frogmobile:They are signs of internal rebellion so say the papers here
panta98:For this, the lower ranks are happy. The upper echelon surely doesn't like the idea, but he has everything under control.
panta98:All election propaganda: Nobody want's to take over this mess here.
panta98:Everybody, including his military adversaries, are happy that he does the dirty work for everybody.
frogmobile:Nothing can be in control if Uncle Sam decides to act. He sets a "bad" precedent for other Latin leaders which the Americans don't like
panta98:The poor guy is a victim, a pawn.
panta98:You'll see how he wins within 72 hours!
frogmobile:But he needs to be less rhetorical and more mature in such situations
panta98:But, Chavez incorporates everything which Uncle Sam has in mind for global military control.
panta98:Chavez is the Pentagon's man.
panta98:Don't take the propanda against him too seriously.
frogmobile:No, I don't think so; his policies are not what the Americans really want; they are just affirming his "radicalism" by giving him time to hang himself.
panta98:If Uncle Sam didn't want him in Miraflores, he wouldn't have left jail, Caldera or not!
panta98:The North  American manupulated election automation machines will do the perfect job.
frogmobile:It was independent of that- Caldera took a risk so as the Americans
frogmobile:Remember they are America key supplier of oil
panta98:They need a man here, to conglomerate Latin American countries, to construct a Gran Colombia, a future Latin American United Nations Peace Force.
panta98:Things are deteriorating here, like in Africa, hence a strong military, democratic guy is urgently needed.
frogmobile:I don't buy that argument. The Americans uses various leaders to get what they want,  irrespective of domestic policies - its a give and take
panta98:The colonial state, the neo-colonial farce will fade away.
frogmobile:But he has not done anything other than to create hopes and promises - he will not be able to deliver
panta98:Chavez is already centralizing everything, introducing a completely new model of military control, also in foreign policy.
panta98:wait and see!
frogmobile:the goods to the people
panta98:There is nothing to deliver to a continent which participates with 3% on the world market; the Americans know this, Chavez knows this too.
frogmobile:that's expected and its a tendency of all "autocratic" based regimes. It the ABC of Public Administration - it's more manageable and easier
frogmobile:In this way he will have greater control but more corruption and bureaucracy/red tape
frogmobile: Remember, Venezuela has a very ineffecient Public Service
panta98:No 'cloned" intellectual labourers will come from Latin America, less from Venezuela, whose education competes with that of Haiti!
frogmobile:By centralizing power, I guess his hope is he will be able to cut down on red tape
frogmobile:No, they will not.
panta98:Hence, the plans of the USA are not to fulfil any "hopes", but to control and massacre marauding, hungry wolves. Chavez and his revolutionary "brigade" also know this -- at least, they are being informed privately overseas.
frogmobile:As long as their interests are not threatened
panta98:For that, a strong military, authoritarian, democratic government would be the best thing that could ever happen here. You really think that Uncle Sam wouldn't love this!
frogmobile:Also rememeber the world's economy is heavely globalized - the Venezuela economy has grown just a mere 0.3% over the past year.......!
frogmobile:They are in deep shiiiiiiiii............t
panta98: The majority of African, Asian and Latin American countries, not to mention those of Oceania,  the Caribbean and the South Pacific, de facto, do not exist anymore on the global, political, economic map. Don't fall for Chavez's populismo; he knows that that is passe. The popular "hopes" were just to bring him into power. Every ruler knows the golden rule: el pueblo, the masses are only there to use and to abuse.
panta98:The pueblo don't even "hope" anymore, for anything coming from Chavez; they are not even rebelling really. They have fun, to forget their misery; they are in the Middle Age Circus, in the Bull-Ring!
frogmobile:NO. I don't, because I think he will "hang' himself with his own rhetoric
panta98:Why? CAP already set the new road: The 27th February -- the "masses" are scared like hell.
panta98:And CAP was not even a military president.
panta98:Now, the Venezuelans have a democratic ex-golpista! I just love the Janus-faced World Democracy!!!
frogmobile:What to expect from the pueblo. They are not the ones that will finally make the decision as to whether he will stay in power or not.
panta98:And they know what golpistas do. "Democratic" Elections never ever where won by the "common sense", "free will" and decision of Tom, Dick & Harry! Who believes in this, is simply already out of his/her mind, ready to vote.
panta98:That's why I argued: Who brought him into power in the first place?
frogmobile:What to expect from the pueblo? They are not the ones that will finally make the decision as to whether he will stay in power or not.
panta98:Since decades, Uncle Sam decides!
panta98:Well, guy, what's happening in Guyana?
frogmobile:It's a "drive by" accident; they probably thought that they will be able to control him but now not as they expected.
frogmobile:Very serious situation there with Venezuela and Suriname
panta98:They have their methods of control, which they can use anytime!
panta98:Oil prices! it's not OPEC who decides on that one either. Investments! Chavez has no control over inviting or scaring investments away! Surely not over those necessary for the Informative Age, for highly specialized Intellectual Labour!
panta98:External Debt!
panta98:Why, Surinam again?
frogmobile:Franz you see his so called "populists" style of leadership will eventually cost him big time.........!
frogmobile:They are claiming, and they also invaded the Corentyne River region.
panta98:He has no "populist" style; on the contrary, a Caudillo style of the new global type.
frogmobile:Yes! I agree,
panta98:Well, this will encourage Chavez to invade the Essequido.
frogmobile:He has no theoretical understanding of government -s ometime I laugh when I read his speeches.
frogmobile:Yes! it has.
panta98:His speeches, like those of Fujimori or any other leader, is not to advance political science, rather of political ideology and mind control. At least, he has already international solidarity with Surinam.
frogmobile:The Americans have responded with the promise of supply of new gun-boats to Guyana -s oon to be delivered
panta98: Please, Khalid. Gun-Boet diplomacy is dead already. For, Chavez, it's not understanding of "government" which is imperative anymore.
frogmobile:I understand, but in the context of the promises he makes
panta98: long ago already, Government has moved to NASA and the Pentagon.
frogmobile: Even if Chavez finds the money, it will not be able to make a difference
panta98:It's a matter of organizing "depopulation", of eliminating the physical labourers, by all means necessary. For that, Chavez is the best man in Venezuela, when not in the whole of Latin America!
panta98:Who ever took the "promises" of a capitalist government seriously? Perhaps, only blind-folded sheep!
panta98:And less so, in the type of Mobutu or Idi Amin countries.
frogmobile:I see a potential war with Colombia - this could be the solution to Columbia's internal rebellion - that is why they are now been armed to the teeth
panta98: You are talking about modern "divide and rule"; about "let them massacre themselves in our interest, give them the weapons to wipe themselves from the face of the earth". Later we will enter to annihilate "peacefully" what is left! In this way, obsolete "physical labour" -- 6 billion -- can be reduced to a controllable 2 billion.
panta98:How many elections have passed over the "masses" and they still vote. They know that political promises are worthless. they just enjoy the political carnival! The bribes, the squabbles!
panta98:I see a possible UN invasion of Colombia.
frogmobile:No it will never happen.
panta98:Let the FARC invade Bogota, then you'll see how soon they'll be there.
frogmobile:Remember Columbia is now being given over 1 billion in U.S military assistance
frogmobile:and many many more to come soon
frogmobile:FARC will be wiped out, man
panta98:Old style thinking, man. That means nothing; pure charity! Bill Gates gave much, more. That's only pea-nuts. To get the US economy globalize itself better, capital destruction is sometimes urgently necessary. That Mandel -- may he rest in peace -- already explained very well.
panta98:FARC does not have the function anymore which it had during the "Cold War" period.
frogmobile:Yes! but the Venezuelas are spending about 150 million annualy in military expenditures
frogmobile:It will be a regional arms race soon.
panta98:The US urgently need more "terrorists"; they had an African War last year, they may need a "South American War" now. Anywhere where there remains ashes of one single "terrorist", they'll even give it a billion dollar resurrection fee. It's honeymoon for terrorists nowadays!
panta98:They need "bogeyman" -- the FARC is a credible one.
panta98: 150 million, very small pea-nuts!! To do what, for what? To invade Guyana? Guyana has not even the national budget of the smaller multi-national giants, not even a fraction of that of Beal!
panta98:To invade Guyana?
panta98:To declare a war with Trinidad or the Virgin Islands? That can't be serious! I don't call that a war. A skirmish! Perhaps, a modern Bow & Arrow Vendetta!
panta98:Arms Race with what? With military satellites? Or with Orinoco bows and arrows?
You have just entered room "panta98 Chat43."
panta98:Guy, CANTV is up to nonsense!
panta98:Let's continue next time.
frogmobile:Okay man, I must go now too.
frogmobile:Until next time
frogmobile:see ya!
panta98: It was nice to chat with you again!
frogmobile: Equally
panta98:We should do it more often!
panta98:Good Night, Nice Guy!
frogmobile:greeeeeettttttiiiinnnnngggss!!!
frogmobile:Bye, nice guy

frogmobile has left the room.
