
Sorbetto al limone
Ingredients:
6 dl of water
250 gr of sugar
The juice and the grated peels of 4 lemons
2 egg-whitesPut the water into a saucepan and add the sugar to dissolve it into the water with low fire.
Let the mixture boil and then cook for another 2 minutes.
Take away from fire and add the juice and the grated peels of the lemons and let the mixture become cold.
When the mixture is cold, put it into a bowl and put it into the freezer for 3 hours.
After the 3 hours, wip until the whites reach snow point. Mix them with the cold liquid.
Put again the mixture into the freezer all night long before to serve it.P.S. U can also use the oranges!
Suggestions:
Decorate the little balls of sorbetto into the cup with candy orange's peels and fresh mint leafs.Le touche du chef: cut the lemons into two parts along the longer side, empty them, but not cut the peels. Freeze them and then use them as cups for the sorbetto.
