This necklace was offered by the Harriet Carter company in 1998 and it was discontinued a short while after due to declining sales. Since then I have put in a request to Harriet Carter to bring it back after seeing a girl in High school showing me her necklace. I am not sure if hers was the Harriet Carter Version or not but after looking at pictures of Harriet Carters and from what I remember seeing it looks a lot like hers.
This necklace is the same size as the J Peterman Heart of the Ocean and I believe the chain is about 18".When this necklace was out it cost 9.95 and that is much cheaper than what the Peterman sells for (approx $499.00+) so just about anyone can afford this beautiful necklace. In my opinion for $9.95, it was a well-made necklace, and not cheaply made and more accurate than the other titanic necklaces you see out there now. I will know more information about this necklace soon, as it becomes available to me.
