I really can not wait to make this dress because when I first saw the movie this was my absolute favorite gown. This is the gown I first wanted to re-create from the movie (which you can see here). I love how soft, flowing and feminine the dress is and I think the colors are just right. I also think this is a dress you could wear anytime. The only concerns I have with making this dress is the multiple layers, and finding the fabrics, and to get it exactly like the movie version or close to it. I think the georgette will be on the expensive side and might be hard to find, but in the long run I think it lasts longer (quality wise) than chiffon. |
