FK Austria has probably the best fans in Austria. They usually don't come in masses, but Austria has a hard core of fans which come to every match. This core covers about 3000 fans. Another part of the club are its sympathizers - people who usually don't attend the matches but follow the club via TV. At least 200000 Austrians are Austria-sympathizers.

"Austrianer" differ a lot from other fan groups in Austria. Whereas at other clubs a big part of the fans consists of screaming teenagers, Austrias fans are usually older or more serious followers of the game. They have regular meetings and discuss the problems of the club at:
