Alfred POLGAR
In most cases, when journalism and literature melt in the ambition of one author, the results are not overwhelmingly good.
Well, Alfred Polgar was one of the few exceptions to this rule. His  charmful reports and anecdotes on  life in Vienna, Austria and Europe in the early 1900s represent the greatest talent of this kind in his time. The only author comparable with him was Kurt Tucholsky, the wonderful writer from Berlin, with whom Polgar even worked together for some time.
