Societies perception of beauty

doesn't represent me,
but nether the less in me
I see true beauty.
With big brown eyes,
and skin the colour of dark chocolate,
tall and slim but with shapely hips
and full lips, this is me;
I represent Nubian beauty
and though society doesn't
represent me,
I stand up proud cos
I'm an African queen.
