*Sun stones are found at the top of the numerous columns incorporated in the outer surface of the Nauvoo temple.
"During the winter and spring of 1844, the breach had widened to the extent of organizing a new Church, and one was instituted in April or May, with William Law as its President, but who disclaimed any prophetic attainments. It was also decided to establish a newspaper in the city, as their organ, and with which to fight the prophet (page 301)."
