About my school days... Ms. Huggins was my LKG teacher in Blk 24 annex. I still love to think and cherish the days when we sat on wooden planks in her class when the "Aaya" Dhanam gave biscuits to passify us! Mr. Ranganathan & Mr. Sivaprakasam were great tamil teachers I enjoyed their class a lot. I'd say they were the dimonds in the crown of tamil department. Ms. Soundera Rani,(my X std) inspite of her short sojourn at JHSS, created an everlasting impression and commends a high regard in my mind. Just listening in her class was good enough to top score in her subject. I never encountered such a teacher ever in my life there after. Mr. Sundaram's classification of students into catagories A. The Bright B. The OK C. Week D. Very week was the stupidest thing a Principal can ever do to his students. This certainly demoralized me. I was undergoing the adolosent phase of my life. I had interesting and pleasently cherishable distractions, I was playful and irresponsible all through my school days :-( The price I paid, I was woken up by the harsh reality - I was unable to pursue my dream career Medicine. After I passed out of JHSS. I got admitted into B.Pharm, BITS pilani! Oops I dropped out. I was unable to adapt myself to the academic style of BITS. With my dream shattered I came back to Neyveli thinking that I was doomed. Even as I lost self confidence, my father was very confident about his son's capabilities. He fought long and hard to procure a B.Sc. computer science seat in Neyveli Jawahar Science College where the admission for the academic year was already closed!! I was very disoriented and confused. I didn't realize my potential and I was walking a path to self destruction. Surprise!! I met Ms. Uma Maheswari, a very humorous, compassionate, caring, intellegent and confident girl. She changed my world up side down, for the good. She reinstalled the self confidence in me. She made me realized my potential by setting meaning full and achievable targets. She was very compassionate and caring all through my struggle. I reaped the fruit of my self realization and new found confidence. I graduated out of Nagarjuna University as a GOLD medalist, with an MCA degree!! Ever since I've never turned back. I got an offer from Oracle India, Bangalore. I worked for 2.5 years there. I was self contented and happy. I married Uma in 1996. I realized that I was capable doing better things. I got myself transfered to Oracle Corp, USA. I started taking a lot of initiative and came up with new projects. I've successfully architected and executed various projects as one man team! Now I have a development team of my own!! While in USA, my wife gave birth to Ms. Akshitha, our little Angel. Today I believe in myself. My motto in life: A persons attitude determines his altitude. My Time pass: Ping Pong, Travelling... Most precious pocession: My daughter. Curiosity: To know the where about of my JHSS acquaintance! I'd appreciate my batch mates email. I am still looking out for YOU :-) |
