Mrs. Weyher's New Adventure

In August of 2004, I began a new chapter in my life
and in my teaching career.
Change is often hard but necessary.
I have been so blessed to have met so many
wonderful, encouraging and supportive people in my career.
Many of those people teach
or live in Glenpool,Oklahoma.
My eight years at Glenpool made
me the educator I am today.
Although I will never forget my friends and family in Glenpool,
I made the very difficult decision to move
to Park Lane Elementary in Broken Arrow.
When my daughter, Katherine,
began her educational journey last year,
I felt that I needed to be closer to home.
While the one and a half hour daily commute
was always a challenge,
but it was much harder when I became a mom.
I decided to open my heart to the idea
of moving and God quickly opened the door.
I started the 4 year old program at Park Lane two years ago.
I am teaching
kindergarten this coming year.
I am very excited about all the possibilities!
My adventure with Broken Arrow Public Schools is off to a great start!
