The Cave

You step into a cave. It is almost completely dark. You hear nothing but the sound of water dripping from the ceiling to the floor on the left of you. You sit quietly, waiting for your eyes to adjust to the vast darkness. As you sit there you notice something out of the corner of your eye. Turning, you see an egg resting in a nest under a torch.

You hear a voice, and out of the shadows steps a beautiful dragon with the pattern of the night sky on her skin.

"Hello, I am Eternal," she says softly. She stepped in front of the egg. "I am the guardian of the dragons that live in this cave.  Ahhh...here comes one now." Turning, you see a tiny dragon fly into the cave.

The little dragon flies over to Eternal and lands on her head, letting out a small squeak. Eternal smiles, and says "This is Syk." You smile at Syk, and he dives down into the nest...as he does, you notice an egg almost identical to the first in the nest.

Eternal smiles. "Oh, I almost forgot to tell you! There is another egg..but this one will hatch into a Dragnid." You smile and nod. Syk squeaks, and Eternal laughs again. "I really am forgetful today...there is one more egg." Gently moving the Dragnid egg, she reveals a small blue egg.

"Another one?" you ask. Eternal smiles and nods. "Wow..." you say. "There is a path over there," Eternal says, pointing. "There are more dragons there. You may go if you'd like." "Alright, bye," you say, walking down the path.
