Down The Path |
You continue down the path, leading you deeper into the forest. You wonder why these wolves don't like to be bothered by the others...maybe theyre just territorial, or are a pack. Who knows? You emerge from the path into a clearing, jumping as you see a winged white wolf sitting there right in front of you. |

The wolf stares at you through blue eyes, then, without opening her mouth, you hear her voice in your head. "Hello, Visitor," the voice says. You gulp, wondering why this wolf is acting so strange. "Welcome to the deep part of the forest. I am sure you've met the wolves and foxes around the edge of the forest, no? Are you a hunter...do you wish to harm us?" You shake your head. "No...I am just here to visit." Nodding, the wolf moves, letting you pass. But her eyes never leave you. You stop. "Whats your name?" you ask. "You may call me Larsee. Now...explore this forest, but do not take anything from it." You nod and take a step back from her, and into the clearing. She walks to the mouth of the path again, sitting and peering down the path, waiting for someone else. You look around the forest, and immediately spot a purple fox standing in the middle of the clearing. |

The kind-looking fox beckons you over, and you walk over to her. "Hi," she says. "I'm Spezzy. Don't worry about Larsee." "Why's she so mean?" you ask. "Her parents were killed by hunters," Spezzy says softly. "She doesn't trust any humans anymore. She won't even let the wolves and foxes around the edge of the forest come near here." So that's why Storm wouldn't come any further. "Yeah, a wolf there named Storm was showing me around, he told me that yall don't like him to come around here." "Yeah," Spezzy says. "But me and Storm used to be friends...Larsee just doesn't want him around. Tell him I said hi if you meet up again, okay?" "Alright," you say. "I'll go look around the clearing now, alright?" "Alright," Sezzy says. "Be careful." And with that, she bounds playfully into the forest. You begin to wander around the forest, stopping short as you almost trip on a little squirrel. |

The squirrel chitters and runs off. You hear Spezzy stiffle a giggle. Leaping back into view, she teases, "I told you to watch out. You just met my little friend..Pookster!" "Pookster..?" She giggles. "Yes, I named him. Cute, huh?!" Larsee's voice booms "It's almost time for the stranger to go." You hear a soft feminine voice behind you reply, "Oh stop, Larsee." You turn to see a strange dragon-dog being. |

The dog creature smiles slightly at you. "Be quiet, Risha," Larsee snaps. "No," Risha replies, stepping between you and Larsee. "The stranger can stay as long as they want." Larsee growls, but turns around to glare down the path. Risha smiles at you. "Sorry about her." Finally you notice two tiny wolf pups that had followed Risha. |

The little wolf puppies crawl onto your feel and lick your feet and legs. You start laughing. "Treeko!" Risha calls. The gray one lifts his ears and looks at her. "Rosho!" the brown one looks at her. She smiles at them. "Down, boys." They bark tiny little barks and run to her, hopping around her, little tails wagging. "Sorry about them," she says. "They're hyperactive." "They're cute!" you say, reaching down to pet them. Rosho play growls and attacks your hand, and you laugh. You hear a soft patting behind you, and turn to see a plush toy-dog walking up to you. |

The plush dog barks. "Kipper!" Treeko squeals in a puppyish voice, and both of the wolf pups tackle the plush dog. The dog rolls around in the grass, play-growling with them. You smile at Risha and the now quiet Spezzy. "I'll be leaving now." "Farewell," Spezzy says with a smile. "Good riddens," you hear Larsee mutter as you leave down another path into the woods. |
