Into The Trees

You leap into the trees, hearing Yosha's call to be careful, then the sound of her walking away from the tree. You look around, not seeing the source of the rustling, but instead spotting a nest of many little baby birds.

You smile and reach down to pet one of them. But the blue one lets out a loud squeak-cry, and suddenly you hear loud flapping behind you. You turn to see a large bird with just as beautiful colors as the babies flapping her wings at you and squawking wildly.

She continues to squawk and flap at you, but you put your hands up in an innocent way. "Wait, settle down! I dont want to hurt your babies, I just want to see them. Your all beautiful!" The mother stops, and smiles proudly, then starts rambling quickly. "You do, really? Wow! Well my name is Luushu and these are my babies; Buffer, Crylanite, Jiinte, and Krujo. Crylanite is very rare, I don't know where she got her colors from..." As Luushu rambles on, you reach down and pet Krujo's head...he rubs his head against your palm, purring in a weird bird way. Luushu quiets as two other birds come and land on the branch beside you; one male and one female.

The purple one, the male, speaks in a slightly accented voice, as if he came from somewhere else, "Hello human...I am Nokoto." The female smiles at you, spreading her beautiful tail feathers as she speaks, "And I am Tiika." "Its a pleasure to meet you," you respond. "This is our flock," Nokoto says. "We are much like lions; we stay with a group." "Oh," you say. "You may go," Luushu says, seeing your uncomfortablness in the tree. You nod, thanking her and leaping down onto the ground, leaving the field.
