When sunlight goes, and midnight comes,
That's when I go to make my rounds.
Hunter and hunted, all in one.
Never wanted, always shunned.
That's the life a vampire leads.
Thirsting with eternal needs,
A hunger for the taste of blood,
The excitement of the dark red flood.
My weapon of choice is tooth and nail,
My dark eyes set in skin so pale
Seems paler still in moonbeam light,
Some men say I'm a lovely sight.
Killing not only to survive
But to relive and to revive
Emotions lost inside of me,
To bring a state of ecstasy.
There are those who'd hunt me down,
Country to country, town to town.
Not for a second giving me peace,
With a hate as immortal as me.
