I See You Chapter 11 She sat down on her bed in the hotel room. Things are going to get hot tonight for Kevin, she thought. Real HOT! "Is everyone ready to go?" Kevin yelled down the hallway. "Yeah, but Sunny and Nick aren't back yet," Brian and Hayley came out of their rooms. "They are already there. Nick said something about ordering pizza." Kevin mentioned. "Pizza? Lets go!" Mari ran a head of the group to get to the buses. At the arena. "Hey Carter! Where's your girl?" Brian asked. "I don't have a girl Brian. But if you were wonderin where Sunny D is, well, I'm not sure where she is." "I'm right here!" I walked into the room. "And where were you?" AJ demanded. "Enough of the interiogation, I was checking this place out. The last arena had a basketball hoop up, and I was seeing if tis one did." I sat, actually it was more of a plopped onto the couch. "Did you find one?" Nick asked. "No b-ball here!" I shrugged. "Well, if you ladies will please leave, we have a show to get dressed for." Kevin looked through the bags for his first outfit of the night. "OK, we'll see you guys out on the stage!" Mari said as we all left. As we went to our dressing rooms, I pulled Hayley aside to talk to her. "Hayley, have you talked to your mom lately?" I asked. "No, why?" "Well, she's been worried about. Is there something wrong? You know you can always talk to me, I'll always be here for you." I put my hand on her shoulder. "Everything is ok. I just keep forgetting to call her that's all." Hayley mumbled. "Are you sure? You and I haven't talked, and I mean really talk, to each other since, since last year." I frowned. "Stop trying to be my big sister Sunny! Mine's gone and I don't want another one!" Hayley shouted. Hayley ran into the dressing room and I leaned up against the closed door. I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry. I kept telling myself that as little tears gathered in my eyes. "Are you ready to dance for Stockholm, Sunny?" Kevin asked. I looked up, " Ready as I'm ever going to be!" |
