I See You Chapter 3 "So what do you think about Nick?" Mari asked. Mari is my friend, and co-worker I guess. She is going to be watching over AJ. Her emerald eyes shined with excitement, you could tell this was her first assignment. "He seems to have an eye problem and a low attention span. How 'bout AJ?" I replied. "Pretty kewl, considering all I got to say was hi." "You guys !! Wait for us!!" Kimi shouted as the other girls caught up to us. "This is going to be a long summer." I sighed."Hello?" a southern accent came over the phone. "Why hello Miss Maggie," Nick laughed. "Funny Nick! So what's up?" Nick played with the phone cord," I thought you should be one of the first to know...I have a girlfriend...sorta..." "Sorta? Nick there is no such thing as a sorta girlfriend," Maggie teased. "Well...she's like undercover and pretending to be my girl." "It's the death threats, isn't it?" she asked concerned. "Yeah. Hey, will you call my mom and let her know that and that I'll be stayin at BRok's tonight instead of my place?" "Why don't you call her yourself?" "Because the phone is busy and I'm not going to spend all day trying to get through." "So I get to spend all day trying to get through?" "Basically, yeah! " he laughed, "See ya Miss Maggie." "Bye Nick!" Nick went out to his car to head to Brian's place when he saw this girl. She was about his age with short blonde hair. She had the hood of her car up and was leaning over checking something. He walked over towards her. The closer he got, he realized the girl was Sunny. "Need any help?" he asked. "No, thanks anyway," I said without turning around. "What's wrong?" "I need a alternator. Guess I'll have to call Mari or one of the girls." I shut the hood. "Why ?" he asked. "So they can give me a lift home." "I can give you a lift," he offered. "I wouldn't want to delay you, I know you are a very busy person," I said with a hint of sarcasm. I couldn't understand what I was doing. He was a cute, nice guy who had just offered me a ride, but I was turning him down. "Busy, eh?
