Maluku separatist leader taken to Jakarta for questioning
Indonesian police authorities say a detained separatist leader in eastern Maluku
province has been taken to Jakarta for further questioning.
Alex Manuputty, chairman of the pro-independence Maluku Sovereignty Front...the
FKM, was arrested at his home in the city of Ambon an month ago.
He's being held over an alleged plan to raise a separatist flag on April 25 to mark the
secessionist group's anniversary.
FKM sources say Manuputty had been taken to Jakarta together with another
detained separatist leader, Sammy Weileruni.
