Police admit difficulty in arresting suspects in Ambon bombing
Ambon, Maluku - Ambon district police chief, Adjunct Commissioner Noviantoro, on
Monday admitted difficulty in arresting two of the suspects in the April 3 bombing in
Ambon, capital of Indonesia`s Maluku province.
He attributed the difficulty in arresting Idi Amin Tabrany Pattimura alias `OP` and
Zafruddin alias `Zaza` to the large area of Maluku on the one hand, and limited police
personnel on the other.
He said the two suspects are in the list of wanted persons, which has been
disseminated to all provincial police headquarters. `We have even established the
necessary coordination with local military authorities,` he said.
