Please take a moment to read the following and PRAY!
Last night I was quite troubled in my spirit and sent out the message, 'April 25 and
talk of war'. I hoped it would be no more than 'talk' but tragically Thalib's terrorist
speech, declaring renewed war on Christians in Maluku, has stirred Laskar Jihad to
action. The village of Soya has been attacked and AT LEAST 12 people have been
killed, many more seriously injured. Other reports are coming in of mortar fire on other
christian villages.
These vicious attacks are being launched on the pretext of 'dealing with the Christian
separatists', when in fact most Christians in Maluku are not aligned to the RMS. In
using this lame excuse Laskar Jihad are receiving state sponsored support for their
renewed acts of terror.
Perhaps now the media and the government will start to call this for what it is and
stop dismissing it as domestic sectarian religious conflict. Unless of course, they now
start dismissing it as a war between the separatists and the nationalists!
