Saturday’s earthquake in northern Pakistan has shocked the nation; 30,000 people have been killed, 43,000 have been injured, almost 2.5 million are in need of shelter and thousands more are still trapped under the rubble. In what is being called, “the worst disaster in Pakistan’s history”, the country now faces the gargantuan task of seeking out survivors and providing food, water, shelter and other relief materials to the victims.
