rules for posting on message boards


1. The slaves of Kassau will frequently check the Kassau Message Walls for new posts concerning them and this Home. Posts must be replied to in a timely fashion.


2. All slaves will have permission from their Owner or a Kassau Free to post on ANY Gorean board/forum. The Kassau Message Walls & Ameeshia Gor Board are the only exceptions. Permission must be obtained for each post you make on any other forum, unless you're told otherwise.


3. Regardless of what board/forum you are posting to, we demand that slaves speak & write with respect. Slaves will be punished for any disrespectful postings made by them.


4. Always post your full name & collar, each time you make a post, to any forum that does not require registration. If the forum requires you to register in order to post, please be sure to, again, use your full name & collar. Avoid using nicknames, etc and don't ever forget your collar.


5. When posting chores you must type something like the following examples, depending on the job you did, at the top of the posting (in different font is nice).

(your name) Chores: Creation - weaving baskets

6. When you cook any food items you need to post the chore on the Chore Board and a menu on the General Wall. Be sure to follow rule #5 when posting the actual chore to the Chore Board. Please review and follow this info about posting menus. This MUST be done correctly.


7. No slave will post to any board/forum of a room or site that is on the banned travel list without specific permission or orders to do so.


8. If you plan to be gone or offline and get excused by Lady Chloe from your duties you must post to the OOC Wall. This is your responsibility. When posting you will need to type "Excused" and the dates you will be gone as the subject. Personally collared slaves need to get permission to be gone from their Owner(s) & Chloe must be notified of such.

9. Always include the entire chore that you perform in the Village when you post the work. Full tags & timestamps for each chore post please. No avatars in the postings, though.


10. Post your chore on the Chore Board UNDER the current list of assignments as if it were a reply to the assignment listing. If you are confused about how to tend a certain chore, ask someone for help. If no one's around to ask, check 'older' listings to see how other slaves did it the weeks before.


11. Any slave not following the rules for posting chores/menus/excusals may have their post deleted and will need to start over again, then post it properly. In other words, save yourself from undue work and stress by learning these rules and following them exactly.


12. Please preview your posts on the Kassu Message Walls before hitting the "Post New Topic" button. Be sure that they are easily read. Be careful of darker font colors that can be hard to read please. NO pictures copied from the room in your scripted postings! If you need to make changes in the post, close the preview window and do so. Then "submit" the post.


13. If you notice something you need to fix after you've posted something, look toward the upper right hand corner of the post that needs to be changed. You'll see a row of small icons there with various functions. Clicking on the icon that looks like this () will let you edit the post. Clicking this icon () will delete the post.
