On the daily ride of life
Oh the struggles I fight
As I try to find my way
What will become of me?
When time has moved on
And we're all angels in despair
Just waiting for a sign
A sign... to make life bearable
Breathe a sigh of relief
As life slows down
And we catch up
Hitching that ride that will
Last forever.

Wandering aimlessly
Stepping lightly
Cautious and wary of our shadows
Oh, how they outweigh, outlast, outcast
Always behind, but not forever
Binding us to our past
Outlining the future, good or bad
We walk on, refusing to let it catch up
Stand still, turn around
Avoid its' stare, avoid the ground
Life moves on but it's always there.
