(4/4/02) Matthew named Thomas after his favorite train and they have become fast friends. Thomas is a sweet little guy and we have all had so much fun getting to know him.


Jennifer and Angelica are so excited because they get to share their room with Thomas. They gladly cleared off their dresser and made a nice home for him in his cage. He loves his little shoebox house - he can get away from it all when he needs to. = - )

(4/6/02) Spring is here and we finally got around to planting our little garden. The kids helped get last years garden cleaned up and then we planted tomatoes and green peppers (our most successful crops from past years).

Later the same day we went to the Thai Xtreme Team "Welcome to LA Potluck." Doug has been working many long hours preparing for this adventure and now the young people are finally here! They are having many Xtreme Xperiences during their time here in LA and Arizona. Doug has been driving the van and leading them on many adventures. (4/11,12/02) We enjoyed a Spring Break trip to Disneyland and California Adventure on Thursday and Friday.

(4/15/02) After our Disney trip, Doug and I attended a Pastor/Spouse Marriage Retreat in Oxnard.
