February 1st was Dad's Day at Matthew's preschool! Doug and Matthew had a great time and Matthew enjoyed making a robot.

We took a trip to Sea World and we were able to buy a "Fun Pass" which means for the price of a one-day admission we can visit Sea World as much as we want for the rest of the year! A great deal and you'll be seeing more Sea World pics in the coming months! = - )


The Roaring Rapids were enjoyed by everyone (except Matthew - he's still too short). Towards the end of our time, Doug and the 3 oldest kids were able to ride 4 times in a row and came off the raft quite wet!!

Happy Valentine's Day 2002!

Our good friend Sandy is moving to Georgia this month and we all enjoyed a fun afternoon in Solvang (the Danish capital of America) to say good-bye. It was nice visiting the Hans Christian Anderson Museum and eating dinner together at "Mother Hubbard's Restaurant."

The East family from Washington came to California for a visit and we all went on a hike to Monrovia Canyon Falls. It was a beautiful day for a hike and a reunion!
