Doug and I enjoyed a relaxing and refreshing weekend at a Clergy Couples Retreat in Oxnard while Grandma Marianne and Uncle Phillip took care of our children! = - )

Angelica participated in an area wide track meet on May 5th. She ran the 400 meter on a VERY hot day and came in 5th place. Angelica is the track star in our family and we are all very proud of her.

Mother's Day is almost here and nothing makes a Mother happier than seeing her two little girls enjoying a special moment of sisterhood while reading a book together late at night when they were supposed to be sleeping. = - )

The baseball playoffs were this weekend. Both teams came very close to being in the Championships, but it wasn't to be this year. Soccer season begins in a few weeks!

David, Angelica and Jennifer had their first piano recital this weekend. They all played very well and we were very proud of them.

Doug and I were able to go to the Dodger Game last night. It was extra special because we were given "box seats" and we had the BEST time!!!!!

Today is Mother's Day and so far it has been a very nice day. My 4 children are a blessing and I thank the Lord for them almost every day! = - )

David had his first band concert last week. The band is made up of 4th graders from the different elementary schools in the district. Next year Angelica and Jennifer will be playing flute and clarinet.
