Today, September 6th, was the first day of school for our 3 oldest kids. David is in the 5th grade and finishing up his last year in elementary school. Angelica and Jennifer are in the 4th grade. Next week, Matthew begins his 2nd year of Preschool. Our girls are now learning how to play volleyball and the team is off to a good start. David's last season of football is here. Football isn't his favorite sport, but he gives it his best! Matthew continues to entertain us in the stands as he waits for his turn to get out on the field - he has to wait until he is in Kindergarten. Doug celebrated his 41st birthday by taking a bike ride with the kids and then we enjoyed cake and ice cream when they returned home. In the midst of the sadness and horror of September 11th, we celebrated Matthew's first day of Preschool after his summer break. He was so happy to go back to preschool for 3 mornings a week and thankfully he is still young enough to not be aware of what happened in our country. This has been a time of prayer and reflection for our family and we pray that God will continue to minister to those in need. HOME
