April 15, 2000

We are now in C-11.
The last day to order is
April 30, 2000.  (Thank
you for all your orders by
the way.  And remember
that when you bring me an
order from a friend I’ll give
15% off your order.)

C-11 has some good
values this month.  The
Naturals shower gels are
$2.99 each (usually
$5.00 each) pg. 101 in
the brochure.

Mix and Match beauty
buys 2 for $4.00 hand
creams, perfumed skin
softeners, speed dry nail
enamel lip color (usually
$2.29 - $5.00 each) - pg..
120-127.

The item that won’t be
priced lower this year and
actually prevents age
spots from forming and
one of the longest lasting
Avon product is Nurtura at
$3.99 (usually $9.00) on
the back cover.

Bubble Bath 10oz and
24oz buy two of the same
size, any scent
combination for the price
of one,  16oz  $9.99 for
two; 24 oz, $12.99 for two
pg. 110.  These are great
for many other uses

besides the wonderful
bubbles 2 capfuls gives
you without  a ring around
the tub to have to clean
up after.  The Vanilla
Cream bath is wonderful
to use for a special
laundry and also it can be
used in those carpet
cleaners at the market.
(By the way those
machines work great!!!).  I
like to use the Bubble
Bath for washing dishes.
The scent is a great help
for those of you who also
find the business
depressing.

The jewelry - sterling silver
any two pieces for $29.99
- save $9.99 is a great
offer. pg.. 54-55.

Lastly, Anew Skintrition is
priced the lowest this year
at $9.99 - pg. 47.   It is a
vitamin primer that makes
your make up go on
nicely.  This is important
to all dry skin foundation
users.  It even outs the
texture so your base
smooths on evenly.

 What’s New  -  Dolce
Aura

Avon’s newest fragrance
is now available.  It is a
romantic floral:

 Page 1

Bergamot, yellow freesia,
tangerine flower, rose,
muguet, jasmine patchouli
and oakmoss.  For
everyone there is a
sample of it with C-11
brochure.

The 3-in-1 all over face
pencil is an ultra creamy
formula and subtle color
for eyes, lips and cheeks.
Easy to apply, easy  to
blend for a summery look.
It has a jumbo pencil
sharpener too.

The sheer face tint with
spf 15 is a light
moisturizing tint with SPF
25 to even out skin tone.
Very sheer silky-soft matte
finish.  If you like a little
more coverage but sheer
foundation the Clear
Finish Oil-Free Foundation
is great.

Sheer Color Creme Blush
gives you a day at the
beach color with sun
protection.  Super-sheer,
natural looking blush adds
just a touch of color to the
cheeks.  Goes on
smoothly and evenly.
(This is only available at
this time of the year)  It is
water resistant.

WHEN YOU ORDER ANY
MAKE UP PRODUCTS OF
TWO OR MORE I WILL
INCLUDE A MAKE-UP

VIDEO THAT GIVES YOU
THE BASICS ON HOW TO
APPLY MAKE-UP.  IF YOU
ARE NOT ENJOYING USING
MAKEUP THIS VIDEO CAN
CHANGE ALL THAT.

The Clean ‘N Go cleansing
& makeup remover cloths
removes dirt and makeup
from the face and eyes.
Contains soothing
chamomile and aloe.  25
cloths  Intro special :
$4.99.

The Peach Soft Musk that
everyone is enjoying in the
shower gel, talc, lotion
and perfume has another
product in the line now it
is the Peach Skin
Softener.  For those of you
who have never tried the
skin softeners you are
really missing out.  And
especially with the warmer
weather on the way this
can easily provide enough
scent by itself without
needing a fragrance spray
for those of you who are
sensitive to perfume I
hear that this is a solution.

Imari is being offered in
an organza drawstring bag
for this brochure only at
$14.99 (usually $20.00).
Imari is one of Avon’s best
selling fragrance.

Also new the Naturals
aloe collection. A

wholesome gentle sensitive skincare for your skin. Dermatologically tested.  Aloe
facial wash with ginger $2.99.  Toner with tea tree $2.99 and the moisturizer with
aloe and wheat germ is light, non greasy.  This line is very good for very dry sensitive
skin but can be used by all skin types.  Non-comedogenic.

Do you have sensitive skin?  Does this sound like you?  (Dry and oily skin types do
experience sensitivity from time to time too.) Dermatologists define sensitive skin as
skin that stings, turns red or develops a rash that lasts more than a half hour after
applying products.  Avon still makes the Calming Effects skin creme also. It is just not
always in the brochure, but can be ordered.

Just to tell you a little bit about what I am doing.  I am trying to build a consultant
group. I want to help them get what they need to start their new business.  I have
hired seven representatives now.  And I am looking for anyone else who might be
interested.  I think that it would be especially

 Page 2

attractive to all who order
on a regular basis
because you can order all
your products that you are
using at a substantial
discount.  For the first 4
campaigns you can order
them at 40% and you
don’t have to necessarily
order every campaign if
you are ordering for just
your family and friends.  It
won’t be a problem for me
in fact I encourage you to
benefit by the savings and
you can always stop
anytime and order through
me after the 40% discount
runs out.  (After 4
campaigns you have to
have a certain sales
volume to get the 40% but
you still would be able to
order the products at a
20% discount and that is
better than I offer you for
bringing one extra order to
me)  So it is something to
try.  Who knows maybe
you want to make  money
too.  We have monthly
meetings to attend to help
you get started in  sales
also.  There is no delivery
charge on your orders
either.  By the way for
those of you who receive
the brochure by mail.  You
can order you products
directly from the company
(with a delivery charge of
$4.00) just be sure to
mention the number on
the back and I will be
credited for the order.
Would you let me know
when you order this way
as I would like to see how
it works.

Your input means the
world to me and I can use
your ideas, comments,
questions and critiques to
improve my service.  And I
would like to share them
with everyone in the
newsletter also.  So like
when you get used to your
favorite Avon lipstick and
they discontinue it you
can voice it in the
newsletter.  By the way I
have a conversion chart
for anyone who requests it
when this happens.  Or
alternatively when you are
getting many compliments
on the way you look so
much younger or different
from using Anew please
share these stories as
they are very important
and can provide very
helpful feedback for
others.

What’s up with
AHAs

Another class of
ingredients that can work
with moisturizers to
improve the skin’s
appearance is

alpha-hydroxy acids, or
AHAs, such as glycolic and
lactic acids. “AHAs aren’t
just a craze.  They serve a
very important purpose in
skin care,” says Ellen C.
Gendler, MD., director of
the Center for Skin Health
and Appearance at the
New York University
Medical Center.  That
purpose is to act as an
exfoliant by dissolving the
“intercellular glue”
between dead skin cells,
thus gently peeling them
away and revealing the
smoother complexion
beneath.  The result is
more-youthful-looking
skin.  And AHAs help boost
the effectiveness of
moisturizers,too.  Explains
Cristina Carlino, CEO of
BioMedic Clinical Care, a
company that specializes
in therapeutic skin-care
products, “You cannot
moisturize the skin by
putting cream on dead
cells.  You have to
exfoliate to remove them
first.”  Lastly AHAs can
unclog pores, a benefit for
those with oily skin.  The
Anew skin care line is best
for using these very
effective AHAs.  The very
latest product to the line
is Luminosity.  It has an
exclusive brightening
complex combined with
gentle plant extracts to
create a new radiance.  It

moisturizes, exfoliates
and has an SPF of 15. It
can be used twice a day in
addition to what you are
currently using.
