Hi, my name is Kathy and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio
where I was born and raised. I've been married
for 36 years, have four children and two adorable
granddaughters and a cute little grandson.
I am also blessed with two loving sisters.
I've had my computer for a few years, but during
the first year I used it mainly for e-mail and
games. While playing on Pogo, I met some very
wonderful people of which a few are going
to be my forever friends.
One day I went into a bingo room where I met a
group who are some of the most caring,
compassionate, supportive and loving people
I have ever met. I've been incredibly Blessed
to have have made some forever friendships
from this fine group of people.
Due to these friendships, my husband and I have traveled
to many places and met so many wonderful people.
The first trip was alone to AZ where I went by bus.
Next trip was with my husband to AZ and again by bus.
That trip convinced us to buy a travel worthy car!! We
have seen the lavish greenery of Tennessee, experienced
falling into the Atlantic ocean at beautiful Myrtle
Beach, and enjoyed the various views from our car!!
I hadn't been feeling well for a some time and had a nagging
suspicion that it may be serious. I told my husband that
before I checked it out, let's try for one more trip. We did and
took our daughters and grandson. We went to AZ and CA.
I'll always have the memories of the mountains so majestic,
the desert scenery, the awesome Grand Canyon, seeing
my grandson feeding the burros of Oatman and
celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday at the casino.
I went to the doctor a few weeks after our trip had some
tests done and was told that I had endometrial cancer.
In 2003, I underwent implant radiation treatment. It
was a tough go, but I made it. Recently, more tests
revealed a couple of other problems. God willing,
I'll come through all of this as I know and have seen
the power of prayer all across this great land.
