FELICITY: (voiceover recording to Sally) "Dear Sally, The night before I had to make my decision between Ben and Noel I had this bizarre dream. It was about the pic Meagan taped back after she used her love spell. Sally, you know I don't believe in all that superstitious stuff. It isn't based on any rational logic. Neither is chasing a guy 3,000 miles, but still. It left me awake in the middle of the night wondering. . ."

OPENING SCENE: FELICITY WALKS OUT ONTO THE ROOF OF HER BUILDING. SHE WALKS TO THE SIDE WHERE SHE AND BEN HAD A CONVERSATION BEFORE ABOUT SPENDING THEIR CHRISTMAS IN NEW YORK CITY. FELICITY UNCONSCIOUSLY TUCKS HER WILD HAIR BEHIND HER EAR AS SHE GAZES DOWN AT THE STREETLIGHTS BELOW.

Felicity is remembering the dream she had just awaken from in this span of nocturnal limbo. The sky is a bruised blue as she contemplates her dream.

DREAM SEQUENCE DEAN & DELUCA'S: Felicity and Meagan are sitting (oddly enough) in one of the tables together having a conversation. They make a strange pair with Felicity in her Dean and Deluca uniform and Meagan in black vinyl and fishnets.

MEAGAN: (Looking slightly annoyed) "What's the reason you asked me here for?"

FELICITY: "I just wanted to thank you."

Meagan's lip curls and her voice is dripping with her perpetual sarcasm.

MEAGAN: "For what?"

FELICITY: "For putting that love spell on me. I know you did. Fate only takes you so far then it's all up to you. I've never been so happy that now it's like I see the point trees and why the sky's blue. I can't tell you how much he makes me feel complete. Like he filled a void I never knew I had"

MEAGAN: "What?! I think I'm going to be sick."

FELICITY SLIDES THE TAPED UP GROUP PIC ACROSS THE TABLE.

FELICITY: "I think love spells are all fake, but I'm telling you yours actually worked! At first I was apprehensive at the thought of you doing that and then seeing how you put us back together in the picture. Me and Ben. Julie and Noel. I see the meaning in it all now."

FELICITY REACHES OVER AND GIVESA STARTLED MEAGAN A HUG.

FELICITY: "Thanks for everything."

MEAGAN: "Damn this sucks," then she smiles and accepts Felicity's gratitude. "Don't mention it."

FELICITY: (voiceover recording to Sally) "Not only was I hugging Meagan of all people, but after we hugged she became my fairy godmother, in pink. I was wisked away in a pumpkin carriage. It was driven by my old pet mouse named Mickey. He led me to Cinderella's Castle in Disneyland. That was when I noticed I had this amazing vanilla silk and lace gown with glass slippers. I was dancing with my prince. . . and I woke up without realizing who it was. Needless to say I was left with feeling disturbed, yet it helped me make my decision."

CUT TO FELICITY AS SHE LOOKS AT HER DORM ROOM ONE LAST TIME SAVORING UP THE IMAGE. THEN WE SEE HER WALKING THROUGH THE EMPTY HALL. SHE GETS INTO THE CAB AND GIVES THE DRIVER INSTRUCTIONS. LYNYRD SKYNYRD'S "FREE BIRD" PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND THROUGHOUT THIS SCENE.

NOEL: (thinking) "Please let her come. Please let her read my letter and pick me, because I need her so much."

VOICEOVER P.A.: "Last call for flight number 109 to Hamburg, Germany. Repeat. Last call for flight number 109 to Hamburg, Germany."

NOEL: (whispers) "Felicity . . ."

NOEL LOOKS AROUND ONE LAST TIME BEFORE HE GOES TO THE STEWARDESS WHO CHECKS HIS TICKET.

STEWARDESS: "Enjoy your flight," she smiles automatically.

NOEL: (mutters) "Not counting on it."

NOEL WALKS ON LOOKING BACK EVERY OTHER STEP TO SEE IF FELICITY WOULD COME RUSHING TOWARDS HIM AT THE LAST MINUTE. HE STEPS INTO THE PLANE DEFEATED AS IF HE HAD JUST RAN AN EXHAUSTING MARATHON. HE PUTS HIS BAGS INTO THE OVERHEAD COMPARTMENT AND KEEPS LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW LONG AFTER THE PLANE HAS TAKEN OFF.

GOO GOO DOLLS BLACK BALLOON PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND

NOEL DOESN'T NOTICE THE LOOK OF RECOGNITION ON A FAMILIAR FACE A FEW SEATS AWAY FROM HIM.

BEN LOOKS DOWN AT HIS WATCH. JEFF BUCKLEY "EVERYBODY HERE WANTS YOU" PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SCENE.

BEN LOOKS AROUND SEARCHING FOR AN IMAGE OF BOUNCING CURLS.

BEN: (thinking) "No, of course not why do you think she would even considered you a possibility, after a stand-up guy like Noel."

BEN SIGHS CRESTFALLEN AND STARTS TO GO INTO THE CAR. AS HE IS ABOUT TO OPEN THE DOOR A PAIR OF HANDS COVER HIS EYES.

FELICITY: "Guess who?"

BEN: (gasps) "Felicity?!"

BEN TURNS AROUND AND SCOOPS UP FELICITY INTO HIS ARMS TRIWLING HER AROUND. FELICITY LAUGHS IN DELIGHT.

BEN: (breathlessly) "I can't believe it's you."

FELICITY (caught up in the moment) "Believe it."

BEN PLACES HER DOWN WITH HIS ARMS AROUND HER NOT WANTING TO LET GO.

BEN: "What made you pick me at the risk of sounding insecure."

FELICITY: "I had been analyzing this decision in total agony forever. Crying over Julie and you and Noel. How this would all affect us . . . it came down to a dream I had last night. It made everything crystal clear. The decision would've easily been Noel after I read the letter. . . but you came back and you took my heart with you. It said more than any letter could've said."

FELICITY LOOKS DOWN. BEN CUPS FELICITY'S CHEEK THEN TILTS HER CHIN TILL SHE MEETS HIS EYES.

BEN: (quietly as if the breeze could blow this tender moment away) "Thank you."

THEY LOOK AT EACH OTHER NOT NOTICING ANYONE ELSE.

BEN LOOKS AT FELICITY LIKE HE CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S IN HIS ARMS.

FELICITY AND BEN KISS TENDERLY AMONGST MID MORNING TRAFFIC. PEDESTRIANS WALK QUICKLY PASS WITH THEIR OWN SCHEDULES. THEN BEN TAKES FELICITY'S HAND THAT WAS CARESSING HIS CHEEK AND STARTS TO KISS HER FINGERS WITH CARE ONE BY ONE. A MOTHER CARRYING A SLEEPY TODDLER ON HER SHOULDER PASSES BY AND LOOKS LIKE SHE'S GOING TO SWOON.

SALLY: (voiceover) "Dear Felicity, so you followed your heart and it lead you back to Ben. I haven't told you this, but when your parents found out you were going to New York they called me frantic asking me to persuade you away from your decision. I told them I'd see what I can do. That same day I ran into an old high school acquaintance of mine whom I've had a crush on throughout the four years we went to school. He admitted into liking me over lunch. That just left me thinking, "What if I took the risk and just asked him out before." He ended up marrying his college sweetheart who was his R.A. freshmen year. Felicity you lost the security and safety in Noel and dove right into uncharted territories with Ben. I told your parents afterwards that you weren't making a mistake because the worst thing you could've done was look back and regret on what ifs. My love to you and Ben. Tell him to take care of my Felicity or I'll hunt him down. Have a safe trip. I know it's going to be a memory. Love, Sally."
