Gnanakoothan ( R.
Ranganathan )
I Tightened The Screw
I tightened the screw
Saw in my mind
What budded at the neck
I searched for the pen Took it up.
Enough ?
Should I pour some more ?
Easy to close Difficult to open If closing itself
Were difficult !
In the barrel of the pen
Opened easily
Dubbles Like soundless words I blew over them
Pricked them with a pen.
Not one of them broke
I poured the ink
Over the ink.
Up came a cloud of bubbles
Spurting out.
I tightened the screw.
There
Trembled at the neck What I saw in the mind.
