Miss Mineola 2007 is Miss Angela Horn a Junior at Mineola High School. She won with a talent in singing "Popular" from the Musical Wicked. Her Leisure wear was shopping to the tune of "Pretty Woman" and Her evening gown was a long black sparkling sleeveless gown that cross tied up her back. Great job Angela! The other two contestants Rebecca Hawkins ( runner up) and Rebekah Epps (won Miss Congeniality, Ticket Sales, and Miss Photogenic) did a fabulous job also and the contest was extremely tough on the judges. They were just points away from each other. Mineola is proud of all three of these amazing and talented young ladies. I was proud to serve them as their interview Coach and mentor.

Now that Miss Mineola Pageant is over. I am free. I have no obligations outside my family for one entire month. I look forward to this time off for rest and getting 9 months of house neglect caught up. I want to do fun things with my kids and enjoy them before the grow up all too soon. Glad to be home!

Jaclyn has basketball camp this week for two hours in the afternoon and one of her good friends Ashley is having day surgery on her knee on Tuesday. It is never dull around here. I have to pay bills and get thinking about packing for family camp next weekend. I am excited about this. Mother is going to meet us at the camp and join us. I am looking forward to some time with my family. Better get dressed and get some laundry done. Chat with you again soon.
