Wow. I noticed it has been a few days since I could get on the computer. Saturday- Well Jaclyn's team lost the district game on Saturday morning. John said he had never seen the girls so happy to lose. They did not want to spend the rest of their Saturday playing softball. We are talking about teenage girls! They would rather shop and talk. lol.
My trip into Fort Worth Saturday went very well. I went to my friends Kate's birthday at a tea room in Fort Worth. It was funny because all her friends are 40 that showed up and I was abit younger than they were and Kate is younger than me. Kate and I went to college together. We have been freinds ever since. I stayed awhile at her house seeing her new furniture and then she and I went to Bennigans to visit some more. It was a great time. I left at 8:00 and got home about 10:30. John and the kids had eaten ribs for dinner. I am glad they saved me some. His ribs are wonderful! I had them for lunch the next day.
Church was good. Jaclyn served at the altar and Father had a good sermon. He announced that the Youth group would do another Church Wide Garage sale on September 15th. Which means ME planning it. It isnt that hard and the money is a good fundraiser for the kids. We plan on going back to All Saints Camp Retreat for the Youth Fall Rally on September 8th. I can not wait. Patrick is now in 6th grade so can go too. That also means John will have to be my male adult supervisor. Poor John. Cool for me.
Monday was abit rainy. However I went on the great key search with Jaclyn. We found my work keys in the closet at the school with all the school keys locked up. That is the safest place they could have been. I cant believe that is where I left them. CRAZY week that Miss Mineola week was. I was a mess until I found them. Thank God I did. Who is the patron of Saints for lost items? Does anyone know?
Tuesday I went to Kiwanis and the library. It was great to get to go be with adults. Well. I better get off of here so my 14 yr old can talk to her new boyfriend. Someday the phone line will belong to me again! Have a great week. Happy Wednesday.
