Home Improvement Shows...they are backed by Lowe's and Home Depot aren't they!

After watching hours of HGTV yesterday all I want to do is go get a Home Depot or Lowe's Credit Card and max it out with all the home improvements I want to do to my home. We bought this house two years ago and have managed to paint two rooms. I am so ready to make the rest of the house represent what I want it to be. Okay money is holding me back. I want to not only paint the rest of the house, but build a wall and a door, move a sink and light, put in a door where there isn't one, put in new flooring in the main living area, reconstruct part of my kitchen and build a movable kitchen island. That is the majority of the hard work. We also want to sand and repolish the back deck, add a front circle driveway, and eventually add a hottub or somekind of natural unusual pool to go with our landscaping. Maybe I would max out both of the home improvement store credit cards that I thankfully do not have! I keep reminding myself I have a few years to do all these things. I hope John is still buying a lottery ticket when he buys gas. Patience...........Maybe I should change the channel and watch something else. lol. Oh and one other thing, after seeing how much it cost to buy a house in other parts of the world, we got this one at a steal. That has got to make us feel GREAT.

The mosquitos are out in force...and here comes the wasps. I noticed the dirt dobbers and red wasps are multiplying now that the rain has slow down. We have gone through 5 cans of Woodland Off already. Not to mention a can or two of Wasp and FLying insect spray. Lets hope none of us go through what we did last summer. We are all allergic to the darn things.

Summer is going, going, going. Here are our plans for the rest of the summer:

July 26th - John's 43rd birthday. We will go out to eat or he will grill steaks at home. July 28th -we will be going to Fort Worth to my nephew, Blake's 3rd birthday party ( Spiderman theme). That will be like a family reunion on the Morris side of the family. August 1st - Jaclyn has her sports physical appointment at the doctors office. Aug 2-4 -we are going to Irving to visit my mom and go school clothes shopping. That is usually the tax free weekend so I am hoping it will be good shopping deals at malls. [Monday, August 6th I go back to work. I feel like my summer is closing in on me.]
