Happy Birthday Blake. Saturday was a great day!
We accidently slept in and then got off to a late start. We headed to my Dad's house where he had picked up John's motorcycle windshield from the post office that morning. Mom and Dad got this for John for his birthday which was July 26th and it got delayed in shipping. John was excited.
We had two local stops to make. The bank for some cash and then we stopped at the Mineola Flea Market where we met Jaclyn's friend's Uncle who owns the store. He made us a great deal on a guitar and learner book. Jaclyn is going to take guitar lessons from the owner at her friend's Stephanie's church on Wednesday nights. She seems dedicated to her new art. Patrick found a rebel bandana and a revolutionary pocket knife with case. That made his day because it did not take up all of his spending money.
We then took off for Arlington/Ft. Worth stopping in Terrell to pick up On the Go Subway sandwiches for the kids and Schlotsky's for the adults. YUM. We got to Arlington about 2:00 and pulled into The Park's Mall. We hit the stores at a quick pace. John and Patrick did their thing and Jaclyn and I went clothes shopping. We went to all of Jaclyn's favorites: Hollisters, Abercrombie, Abercrombie & Finch, Hot Topic, and American Eagle. I found a deal on a shirt for Patrick at American Eagle and we got Jaclyn a couple of tops for school. We met up with the guys about 3:15 and decided we better get going and find the address to the party.
We arrived at Jennifer's in-law's beautiful home and walked into a Spiderman Movie. The whole entire house was decked out in the spiderman theme including the back yard that hosted a huge jump house. Then we got to see Donnie's family and alot of the Morris family. It was great. The food was over flowing and everyone had a great time. Blake looked like he was having the time of his life with all of the people who care about him around him. Getting to see little Sam and Blake were the high light of the day. It was so great to see everyone. We left about 7:00 and got home alittle after 9:20. John went directly to the garage and put his new windshield on his Honda Motorcycle. It was a great day!
