Today, we went to church and celebrated a baby being baptized. It is always a wonderful experience to see this particular special ceremony. We ran home after church and John got on his motorcycle and the kids and I were in the van and we took off for Sulphur Springs. When we got there we called Bryan on his cell and found out we were only a block away from FURR's where we were meeting the clan. Upon arrival we saw everyone had arrived and we were only a couple of minutes late. We greeted everyone and headed in. Grand Dad and Wilda treated everyone to lunch. We tried to talk him out of it. It is HIS birthday, we should be buying HIM lunch. He wouldn't have it. There were 15 of us : Pacer & Wilda, Barbie & Ronnie, Ellen & Jimmy, Kay and Terry, George and his Fiancee, Bryan, John & Kaye with Jaclyn and Patrick. (I am not trying to be rude but I never can remember George's girlfriend's name even though Ellen has told me several times. Sorry about that. They are getting married January 19, 2008 and have asked Jaclyn and Patrick to be apart of the wedding party. How sweet. ) We had a nice meal and asked Pacer alot of questions. It was very hard to hear at the second table so we all moved our chairs around one table after we got through eating. Afterwards we went outside and took pictures of GrandDad and Wilda on the motorcycle with John. It was great fun even though both declined a ride. :) You gotta love their spark. Jaclyn and Patrick went off with Ellen, Jimmy and George to see the new Harry Potter movie. John and I took the motorcycle home. He went through two rain showers on the way home and got soaked through. Going to go try to figure out dinner now since it took me two hours to upload photos at my flicker site.
