We woke up very late this morning. The girls didn't get up until almost noon. I got up about 10 and showered and then finished my book that I was reading Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich. Great book. I got on and checked my e-mails and then went to make everyone a very late breakfast of Eggs, Bacon, and Bisquits. It was good. We packed and cleaned up. We got in the van about 11:00 and headed over to see the Las Colinas Mustangs and Canal. There used to be shops along the canal and river boat rides but something happened and only one restaurant is still open. We walked the pretty walk and took pictures of the mustangs and the canal and then got back in the van. Mom was in her car and we all left for East Texas. We had an uneventful ride home. Yeah! Mother left us and went to Dad's house from Terrell. We went home first to unpack and then headed to Dad's house to have a cookout with Kyle ( my brother) and his two girls, Grace and Olivia. We had hamburgers again and homemade icecream. It was good. I was wiped out and ready to head home by 8:30. My sunburn was really bothering me. We dropped Stephanie off at her house and headed home. We showed John all of our purchases and relaxed. I grabbed the 6th Harry Potter book to browse through and remember some of it before I am going to start the 7th and last book. I can't wait but I knew I better put it off or I would read all night. August 5th - I missed church today due to my pain from my sunburn. I did not sleep well. John went and served and represented the family. Now, John is catching up on some yard work. We will take a nap and do laundry, food shopping and maybe take a motorcycle ride. I start back to work tomorrow. My summer is over. It was a good one. I got to see some friends and got alot of reading done. We got the school clothes shopping. Next payday I can concentrate on school supplies and Jaclyn some jeans. Hope your having a good time reading my blogs. :) God Bless.
