Happy Birthday to me! I get to catch up on my blogging. Yeah!

Well, I thought October was going to be slower than September and I would get alot of stuff done. I am sure I did but the month went by in a complete blur.

Last Weekend my husband was in a motorcycle accident. He has 19 staples in his head, two broken ribs and road rash down his right arm from his shoulder to his hand. He was not wearing a helmet and has a concussion and no recollection of what caused the accident. He was just taking the bike around the block. He was spared death and very very lucky. So am I. I love my husband with a passion. He is my soul mate, friend and lover. I would be utterly lost without him. I believe I could survive because of our faith and go on with life for my kids sake but I would be a lost soul living for the day to reunite with my love. God has been gracious to us. The motorcycle is in the shop for repair and John is on the mend. The bills have not come in yet and I pray they will wait. We see our blessings and he sees his mistakes. We will go on.

This weekend is quite a busy one as usual. Jaclyn had her first Basketball scrimmage. She knows she is on 9th grade/JV but doesn't know which team yet A or B. I guess they will tell them this week. The coach doesnt know these players which is a frustration to the parents who know what girls play great together and what ones don't. Hopefully they will all grow with the season. They begin their games this next weekend I believe. She then came home and got ready for a late halloween slumber party at a friends house. They stayed up until 4:30am. We picked her up for church this morning and she was cranky.

Patrick went to an overnight camp out with the Boys Scouts. They stayed at one of the boy's property in Alba. Seems like they had a good time too. We picked him up after church and met with my parents. They took us out to lunch at Two Senoritas Mexican food and then we went back to the house for presents and cake. I got two necklaces and two sets of earrings and $60 to get pampered at the beauty parlor of my choice. I am also getting an ALB for church that is outlined in lace. It was a good birthday. John is alive and my family was together.

Next weekend we have the Veteran's Day parade downtown that the scouts are marching in. John is getting a suprise that day. We also are celebrating my son's 12th birthday with a slumber party and my dad's birthday with a lunch on Sunday.

Thanksgiving will be a suprise. I have heard nothing from John's side of the family about getting together. I am not prepared to take it on at my home. My mother and brother are in the outs so I am not sure what is going on there. I think my family will get together on Friday at my Dad's house for a meal. I am in charge of pies and casseroles and corn bread. I guess I will hear more this week on it.

I think we will have a Christmas Party at our home this year for the Morris Clan. We haven't set a date yet but we will soon. That is all for now. I have to cook the dinner for my starving kids and my invalid husband. HUGS!
