What a week.

Saturday was the Veteran's Day Parade and Patrick's slumber party.

Sunday Jaclyn served at church and I had to set up a Youth table. After that John and I cooked dinner for my parents and celebrated Dad's 70th birthday.

Monday the school put on a Veteran's Day program that was awesome. I was so proud of the HS and and the first grade choir. OurHS Choir and band is tobe commended for the great performance as well. The 4 trumpets playing Taps got me to tear up. After school Dad and I had Choir practice out at Holly Lake Chapel. I took Patrick with me since we were on such a tight schedule. Jaclyn went to a friends afte basketball practice and I picked her up. We got home about 7:30 and John had made dinner. Jaclyn got a new boyfriend, Chris C. He is a great kid. I am even excited. lol

Tuesday was Scout night for the guys. Jaclyn had basketball practice all week after school until 5:30 so we were running to get everyone everywhere. I did some laundry, cooked dinner, and cleaned up the house a bit. It needed it.

Wednesday again basketball after school and Patrick had Afterschool detention for not turning in his homework so I had to pick him up at 6:15. Jaclyn had to be at church at New Hope at 6- 8pm and I had choir workshop at St. Dunstan's from 6-7:30. So I had to juggle a ride for Jaclyn ( thank goodness they feed them at New Hope) grab Sonic for Patrick and I and then be late to my choir workshop, pick up Patrick and take him with me to the church. Afterwards we picked up Jaclyn and Chris and Lauren at New Hope we took lauren to her home. I took the kids and Chris to Sonic to grab ice creams and John a hamburger and then we dropped Chris off at his house. We got home about 9:30.

Thursday was a busy day at the High school because our football team was having a play off game that night against Pleasant Grove at Mount Pleasant. We sold tickets and booster T-shirts all week. They Juniors and Seniors put on a powder puff game at 1:15 and at 2:00pm we had a district wide Pep Rally at the stadium. I was able to come home by 4:55 and finally get an evening off. I had to read a book for a school workshop and I practiced my choir songs. John made a delicious chicken and rice dinner and we all went to bed on time. Yeah! I haven't heard how our team did. Last I heard Dad had called at the half time and we were ahead.

It is friday and I have to get off here and get ready for work. Catch you later. BYE.
