Our town has a busy day today. We have the Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Parade, The Tour of Homes, and Downtown Christmas complete with carolers and carriage rides. Shops will be open until 8:00. Pretty cool.
Jaclyn went to spend the night and have a christmas slumber party at a friends house last night. John, Patrick and I went out to eat and rented some movies. We watched Transformers. It was great.
Today I have to check on my key club kids who are supposed to show up at Walmart and Brookshires to ring the Salvation Army Bell for Kiwanis community service hours. We then will watch John and Patrick and the Boy/ Cub scouts in the Christmas Parade. My GS troop opted out. Yeah. Then we may see a couple of homes on the Tour of Homes ( maybe).. I do want to check out downtown and visit our friends new store " Simply Charming" . It is a neat store right next to the movie theater.
John is going to help me get the lights up on the house this afternoon if it doesn't rain on us. It rained all last weekend. We got the inside of the house all decorated for Christmas but I want to get the outside taken care of.
We are still waiting news on John's motorcycle. The insurance company is being slow. Imagine that. John has made nearly a complete recover. His arm is itching and his ribs still give him alittle pain when he laughs too hard or sneezes. Thank you for all your prayers.
