Entry for January 26, 2008

Finally, I am back on here. I am so sorry for the wait. My laptop died over the Christmas holidays. I have not had access to this site until now. I am on my daughter's computer in her room while she is out shopping Tyler with friends. I had to pay bills so I thought I would post why I haven't been around much posting. I can check my personal e-mail from work but I can not go to my space or yahoo 360 there. Great news! My Laptop is fixable and the tech guy at work is working on it now. I hope to be back to normal soon. We are looking at buying a family desk top computer with income tax money and my laptop will be the secondary pc in the house. This way hopefully Patrick can play his computer games and I can keep my stuff separate from the family pc and be online at the same time. Well that is if Jaclyn isnt tying up the phone line or I finally am able to get DSL. I HATE DIAL UP ..... One of the disadvantages to living in the country I suppose.

John got a new work truck. It is really nice. It is a full size this time and a bugger to fill up with fuel. Thank goodness his work pays for the gas. I did see where Gas went down from $2.89 to $2.72 at the pump today. Hurray!!

Tomorrow is Jaclyn's Confirmation. The bishop is coming to our small church to confirm several members. 4 teenage girls and a few adults. Mom and Dad paid for her a new outfit that looks fabulous on her. It is a pinstripe black skirt with matching top. It has a white collar with black pokadots on it. We got her black dress shoes and a white cami to go with it and black hose. She looks so sophisticated and business like in it. I hope to get some good pictures tomorrow.

Jaclyn is about to end Basketball season and head fast into softball. This will be her first year to be able to play school softball. She is excited. She quit track even though that girl has improved her time greatly this year even since her cross country. She still has to do track practice with everyone else but she doesnt want to compete. It is a day out of school every track meet so I am glad she is going to concentrate on one sport and not miss so much school.

Patrick is doing good. Growing up tall. He got a new pair of shoes and is in a man's size 7.5 . I can't believe how big his feet are already. I think he is getting ready to shoot straight up.

We are all thankfully healthy and doing okay. Hope you look us up soon. Hugs, Kaye
