Hello everyone. Sorry it has been awhile. School started back August 25th. Jaclyn has been taking driving school since August 18th and will be done by the end of Sept. we hope. She has her driving permit so now I have a personal chauffer everywhere.

This weekend we had a wonderful trip to Dallas. We started off alittle bit late cause we had to pick Jaclyn up at a friend's house Saturday morning. [She went to the MHS football game against Quinlan-Ford. ( We won 34 - 8) Yehaaaa. Next week we play Quitman at Quitman. I will be at that one!] After we picked her up we ate lunch in Terrell at Long John's Silvers/ A&W. Then we made it to the mall by 1:00. We split up boys and girls and hit our favorite stores at Grapevine Mills mall. Jaclyn got two tops and a hoodie along with a wallet, 2 belts, 2 bags, & 2 bracelets. Patrick and John paid for his new warhammer set and paid off the one on order not coming in until next week. They will ship it to us. Yeah. I got Patrick 3 shirts and a lanyard for school. I got an over night case and one for Jaclyn ( two for one deal). We met up with the guys at the big book store where we had refreshments and I found three books in the bargain bin.

We left the mall and headed to Cara's house. It turned out to be very very close. Right after we arrived Celina showed up and we had a nice visit until it was time to meet the other's at Spring Creek BBQ in Frisco at 4:30. We followed Jeff in his nice Dodge Pickup accross Dallas and through Plano. We made it right on time. Alison had reserved the back room for 20 people. We got settled in and everyone started showing up. It was great. There were so many people there: Alison, Steve, Jordan, & Brandon; Cara, Jeff, Jordan & Jared; Dana (missing Charles) Caleb, Aaron, & Ashley; Celina (missing Danielle); Kaye, John, Jaclyn & Patrick; Joanna, her husband and three girls, and later we met up with Dana's parents at the game. After a great time catching up with stories and where everyone was now..we headed to the Frisco Rough Riders game where we all got free ball caps and the kids started getting comfortable with each other. The stadium even put up our MAC Reunion Classs of 1988 on the billboard and Little Ashley got the camera on her during the game when we were dancing to the cottoneyed joe. Game was over close to 10:15 and the Rough Riders Lost. But it was great anyway. We drove to mom's apartment in Las Colina's and got there about 11:00. We got up the next morning and all but Patrick and I slept in. Patrick and I got up about 9 am and went for a morning dip in the pool. It was wonderful! Wish I could get up and do that everyday! About 10am we started rousting everyone else out of bed and put in a breakfast casserole mom had made, in the oven. We ate that with Danishes, chips and sauces, and strawberries. A delicious mix for brunch. We got ready and went to meet the reunion families at The Main Event in Grapevine. We got all the bowling, lasertag and billiards we could play for $20 each plus a $10 game card. We stayed from 1:00 - 5:00 when we had to leave for a Private party. It was so much fun. We bowled and talked and then everyone in our group played a laser tag game together at 3:00. We split Boys against the Girls. The guys won but not by much! The kids got hungery so Jaclyn ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich basket, Patrick ordered Chicken Strip Basket, and I got John and I cheese sticks and we ate off the kids french fries. It was good food. When we were about to leave I got a call from mother that Uncle David was in ICU in critical condition. So we left in a hurry to get over to Baylor Hospital where we found my two of my three cousin's Laurie & Lucy, my Uncle's wife Vickie, and my mom. Uncle David was supposed to check out of the hospital that morning but they found he had pneumonia and a blood clot. He was in critical all day. They gave him something that is supposed to break up the blood clot. He was incoherent so I doubt he knew we were there. But please add him to your prayers. They said the first 24hours is the crucial. So we wait for the phone call now. We didn't want to be in the way so we visited for little while and I got to talk to my uncle however I am not sure he heard me. Then we headed to Dallas to John's grandfather's house. He was out of town but left out a desk for Patrick for us to pick up. It was smaller than we thought and it fit just fine in the back of the truck. We made it home about 8:15pm. We were all tired and went to bed by 10:30. I did get my pictures off the camera and got them at flickr.com
